I can’t believe it! Our daughter turned THREE years old last month, so it’s time to think about purchasing a “big girl bed.” I am dreading the transition (!!) but I am excited about a room makeover! Here are some beautiful images of bedrooms that are currently inspiring me. Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the mood board I created for this project!
Hello and thanks for visiting! My name is Lauren and I’m the face behind the blog! My husband, Eric and I live in Ontario, Canada with our two children. I enjoy sharing what I love through pretty pictures with a bright and airy aesthetic. I am passionate about making homes beautiful. Whether it’s a full-scale renovation, styling for the season, or decorating for a party, I am going to give it my all and document it in a picture!
I’m an office administrator by profession, but my passions are interior design and photography. It’s safe to say my interest in interior design began a long time ago. As a little girl, I loved watching HGTV with my mom and grandma, rearranging furniture and picking out colours and painting my room, many, many times. I worked part time at Rona (a hardware store in Canada) and Sherwin Williams Paints for ten years collectively where I loved to give advice and live vicariously through people designing their homes (as I was not a home owner yet).
Since becoming a mom in 2018 I traded my cellphone camera for a DSLR so I could document our lives through high quality photos. As a result, I developed a new but strong passion for photography! I love photographing my kids (of course) as well as interiors. My hope is to help and inspire you whether it’s a simple parenting hack, directing you toward the prettiest décor for the season or instructing you on install DIY wainscoting on a budget.
