I can’t believe I forgot to share photos of Clara’s 5th Birthday (back in March)! Now that we are coming up on her next birthday, I figured it was about time I share some photos on the blog! I absolutely loved planning this pink party for my sweet girl! I didn’t even connect it with the new Barbie movie (which I still haven’t seen by the way). Barbie just happened to be Clara’s favourite at the time (and still is). I’m sure if her birthday was a few months later, I would it easier to find more coordinating items.

Heres a few of my favourite captures from her special day. I stuck to my usual party basics, cute decor and yummy snacks! I kept it simple and ordered pizza for the kiddies and had a delicious selection of PINK sweets! My husband even made his speciality – caramel popcorn, except with a pink twist! It was so yummy!
Entertainment:
This was my first time having to find entertainment for kids, as Clara’’s previous birthdays were mostly family and my friends and this time we planned for more kids than usual. I ended up hiring Fantasy Bubble show (link here) Oxana was great! She did lots of tricks with bubbles and fire ; she was even able to let each kid have multiple turns coming up front of the room and getting to stand inside a bubble (pic below)! The kids absolutely loved it!

Favours:
For the favours, I try to get something related to the theme, but don’t like to buy a bunch of junk that will go to the garbage, so I try to go the route of either edible or crafty. This year, I chose magenta paper bags from Michaels and I tied on a Barbie tag I made to add all our guests’ names. In the bags, I included Barbie push pops, a Barbie chocolate egg (Hot wheels for the boys) and, some bubbles.
